Getting Your Website Noticed By Google – Follow The Easy Steps And Get Social

You wrote your posts but can’t seem to find them anywhere on google. Every search term you use just doesn’t show your page or your post, which you have been working on so hard. So how do you get your website noticed by google? How is it possible to get some appreciation by google for the work your put into your posts or blogs?

You have to be noticed to get somewhere

I’ve got 4 simple steps for you on how google is going to trust your website more and if that happens, google is more likely to notice your content and website way faster.

Why would I want Google to notice my website?

The answer to this question is pretty simple; you want to have traffic on your website.

You should look at Google and other search engines like Yahoo and Bing as your friends, it is so important that you become good friends with them. Because if you are really good friends with them, then you will start to earn money. If you act like a bad friend, do things they don’t like, then they will punish you for this. So be a good friend, do what they ask you to do and get your website noticed by google.

How can I do this you are asking now? Just follow the 4 steps below and they will find you and look at you as a friend!

The simple steps to get a better ranking for your website

Getting your website noticed by google, the 4 easy steps. Let me say this before we get started on the steps. It isn’t enough to just simple follow the steps once. You have to redo some steps and your have to redo them a lot. It is going to take some time, so don’t expect a miracle.

Step 1:Write content which is based on a good keyword and write a lot of content.

The first step to getting your website noticed by google is to write content. This sounds pretty logical right? Google needs something to notice, so you have to write a lot of content so they know your website is active. Don’t get me wrong here, just writing a lot is not going to work. What you write will have to be something good and useful for the people who are reading it. Once you think you have a good topic to write about, you have to start thinking about what is a good keyword to use.

If you don’t know what a good keyword is or how to find a good keyword you can check out my other posts, where I will explain it step by step.

Step 2: improve SEO on wordpress

The next step for getting your website noticed by google is to get your SEO on point. SEO means search engine optimization. This simple means, you want to make it easy for google and the other search engines to find your website. There is a lot of things where you could optimize your website so it is easy for the search engines to find your website.

Step 3: Get your google analytics account and google search console ready

Step 3 already, the steps aren’t that hard right? It is just going to take some time, so don’t give up too quickly!

alright, so the third step for getting your website noticed by google is creating an account for google analytics and getting your sitemap within google search console. This is an important step, because you will sign your site up within google. This means something like sending them a friend request on Facebook. They will accept you and even give you some details of the traffic on your website. If they see your site gets a lot of traffic, they will be more friendly to you. Sounds a bit like google only likes people with a lot of friends right? Well unfortunately, that is the way it is.

Step 4: Start to be social and share, share, share

Alright so the last step for getting your website noticed by google is going to be socialize! Once you have your content and your accounts for google all ready and set, you want people to actually see your content right?

My advice is to have at least 3 social media accounts and two of these have to be google plus and Facebook, the reason why is that google plus is again, becoming good friends with google. Facebook is that it is pretty big, a lot of people and easy to advertise. The other account I suggest is pinterest, this is growing pretty hard and there are a lot of people and potential customers here.

Ofcourse, more social media accounts is even better, because you have more links to your website and more potential people who see your website and content. So you can also try to make an account for twitter, Instagram, linked in and more.

All you got to do here is make sure your accounts are active. Once you have a new post or blog or picture or whatever it is you have, share it! If you don’t share, google and the other search engines still won’t notice you. So be active and share, share, share all your content!

  1. Hi, and thanks for this tips.

As I look at it, it is not that easy to perfection the first two steps. Writing good and helpful content is one thing but how does Google know it is helpful?

The SEO settings are not that clear as well. I spent quite some time trying to optimize my SEO but it’s not easy.
Today I chose a keyword for my title, for example, it has a very little competition but when I look for the post there are 15 million search results and mine is nowhere on top.
I have to increase the social media sharing, I think at this stage it is the biggest chance to get more traffic to my site šŸ™‚

  2. Hi Stefan!

You are right, it is not that easy to perfection the frist two steps. But after a while it is going to be way easier than it is now. It is like trial and error, see what works well and what doesn’t. The answer to your first question is going to be, google knows it is helpful when a lot of people are visiting your post or leaving comments on it. (the way you get this done is through the last step, the social sharing).

About the SEO, there is a lot to optimize there and it won’t be easy, that is true. But you can use a plugin to do a lot of work for your SEO already. If you check im explaining the plugin. That is a good step in the right direction.

    They keyword and the competition is very important for your post. But the keyword in the title isn’t enough, it also depends on how much you use the keyword in your post and where you put it! I’ve got a few tips for the use of keywords in this post;

Social sharing is never a bad thing! So keep on creating and sharing and give it time! It’s like a good friendship, it takes time to get to know each other, but once you do it is amazing.

    Wish u all the best!

    kind regards,
